1. Acceptance

By using Deck (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please discontinue use.

2. Platform Description

Deck provides software tools that allow freelancers to showcase work, manage bookings, and process payments through Stripe Connect Express. Deck is not an employer, broker, or agent for users.

3. Eligibility

Users must be 18 years or older and located in the United States during beta.

4. Payments

All payments are processed through Stripe. Deck does not handle or store payment data directly and is not responsible for Stripe’s performance or errors.

5. User Content

Users retain ownership of their uploaded content but grant Deck a limited license to display it on the platform. Users are responsible for ensuring they have rights to the materials they post.

6. Disclaimer

Deck provides its services “as is.” We make no warranties regarding accuracy, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

Deck’s liability is limited to the total fees paid to Deck in the 12 months preceding any claim. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.

8. Termination

Deck may suspend or terminate accounts for violating these Terms or applicable laws.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by U.S. federal law and the laws of the State of California.
